Our Story: Rooted in Tradition

Reconnecting the Modern World with Ancient Wisdom

Namaste! I’m Bindiya Dixit, Founder of The Indian Roots.

As a yoga practitioner and trainer over the last 15 years, I have always looked to our past to understand the true meaning of wellness. My journey was inspired by a timeless realization: in ancient India, health wasn’t found in a lab, but in the soil.

The Power of the Root: A Timeless Legacy

The true power of Indian herbalism is best captured in our ancient epics. When Lord Laxman lay unconscious on the battlefield of the Ramayana, it wasn’t a modern miracle that saved him—it was the Sanjivani Booti.

Following the profound wisdom of the Vedacharya Sushena (the royal physician brought from Lanka), Hanuman Ji flew to the Himalayas to bring back this sacred root. It was the potent, natural essence of that plant that revived Laxman Ji and restored his life force. This story serves as a divine reminder: roots are essential. They are the original healers of humanity, meant to be a natural part of our daily lifestyle to maintain balance and vitality.

Our Mission

Driven by this legacy, I founded The Indian Roots: Soil to Soul. We aim to bring the same holistic wisdom used by Rishis and Vedacharyas of old into your modern home. By making these timeless herbal remedies accessible and relevant for today’s fast-paced world, we help you nourish your life from the ground up.
